About Florigen
Florigen is an Organic plant flowering regulator which helps reduce the environmental stress on plants. It is absorbed by the plant tissues whereby it is broken down into naturally occurring compounds, which balances the endogenous plant growth hormones to induce flowering and decrease the senescence of flower.

It has been successfully tried in a wide range of crops and has given excellent results, where in some cases the farmers have been blessed with almost 100% increase in their existing yield.

Major crops that have been successfully tested with Florigen are
  • Wheat
  • Millet (Jowar, Bajra, Ragi, etc)
  • Rice
  • Maize
  • Barley
  • Pulses (Chickpea, lentils, Beans, etc)
  • Herbs & Spices (Mint, Cumin, Black pepper, Clove, Cinnamon, Chilly, Turmeric etc.)
  • Cash Crops (Castor, Mustard, Sunflower, Soya, Groundnut, Sugarcane, Palm tree, Cotton, Tea, Coffee, Cocoa, Tobacco)
  • Flowers (Rose, Marigold, Jasmine, Chrysanthemum, etc.)
  • Vegetables (Potato, Onion, Garlic, Tomato, Lemon, Brinjal, etc.)
  • Fruits (Banana, Mango, Papaya, Grapes, Strawberry, Coconut, Amla, etc.), and many more..
Application
Florigen can be used both to induce flowers and to prevent flowers from premature dropping by giving more strength to the plant. This indirectly increases the number of fruits that the plant bears hence increasing the yield. In a flowering plant it is advisable to take the first spray right after the flowering stage so as to increase the number of flowers. Florigen enhances both vegetative and reproductive growth of the plants but does not force the growth, but gives it the freedom to grow at its optimum level without any outside hindrance or interference to its metabolism.

Three sprays at interval of 15-20 days of Florigen are recommended per season/cycle for best results. Since Florigen is given as a foliar spray by mixing it with water it is advisable that the spray should be of particles not more than 4 microns (foggy spray). To let Florigen effectively be absorbed by the plant tissues do not water the plant for upto 48 hours after the spray. Since the pores in the leaves are open maximum during early morning, for maximum efficiency the spray should be taken between 6am and 9am, before the sun is overhead.

Results have also shown that not only the taste and the appearance of the final produce is improved but also the overall quality of the yield is enhanced. Florigen will truly help the world move towards a healthy organic way of farming without compromising on the yield per hectare.
